Sales Support Specialist

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth execution of sales processes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, enabling them to meet their targets and contribute to the company's growth. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments, including R&D, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing their queries, resolving issues, and providing product information.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve Organization goals.

  • Attend important meetings to improve the service.

  • Maintain and update customer and sales-related information in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

  • Support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline analysis, sales performance metrics, and forecasts.

  • Contribute to the preparation of sales presentations and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met.

  • Coordinate customer visits, meetings, and events, including logistics and agenda preparation.

  • Provide sales training and support to new team members, familiarising them with sales processes, tools, and systems. Develop and maintain sales support materials, including product catalogues, brochures, and sales presentations.

  • To keep the department leader up to date with account progress, product and range development, and problems and issues with any area of customer services, to ensure the customer receives the best services we can offer.

Desired candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in a sales support or sales coordination role, preferably in an R&D manufacturing environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate meaningful insights.

  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high levels of accuracy in sales documentation.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
